This course exceeded my expectations, not really sure what ever to expect when starting a new class, but this course pushed me and was no walk in the park. I liked the discussion boards best, I feel they allowed me to use personal knowledge and connect with my fellow classmates. I can not offer any suggestions for improving this course. I think the future trends of criminal justice administration will continue to develop in the technology age. With the always evolving door of criminal justice administration, younger people will be taking leadership positions. These younger people will have grown up with technology and will be able to apply technology in ways never thought possible. I also believe with a younger generation of administration, issues that seemed major to past generations, will not been seen major anymore. It seems with each passing generation the standards for which society expects from others or allows others to get away with decrease. For example when I was a child it was common for children who got bad grades to be placed on restriction or be “grounded”, now days it seems as though parents no longer care about their children’s grades or their child’s behavior in school. I’m not saying all parents are this way, just that a greater majority of society now allows their children to get away with a lot more then when I was a child. I believe this has a lot to do with parents choosing to not spank their child, but thats another conversation. With an ever changing society, criminal justice administrations will be forced to change also in order to stay current with the times and fight crimes effectively.
